Welcome to Rooted Wings Co! I’m Kala, the person behind this blog. Our family started raising monarchs a few years ago after my mom stumbled on a monarch caterpillar while picking wildflowers for my sister’s wedding, and we’ve been hooked ever since! Raising monarchs is such a fun hobby for the whole family, and we have learned how to take better care of our environment in the process.
