Lemon trees make a great home decor statement and are a host plant for giant swallowtail butterflies. Growing them from lemon seeds is super fun and simple!

First remove the seeds from the lemon and peel the outer layer of skin off.

Then lay your seeds on a paper towel and spray with water until moist.

Place damp paper towel with seeds inside a sandwich bank and store in a warm, dry spot.

Check on your seeds after 2-4 weeks. If they've sprouted roots, they're ready to plant!

Plant in a plastic pot or in a recycled water bottle planter. Set near a window and watch for sprouts in the coming days!

Keep your lemon tree's soil moist and gradually move your plant to a window with direct sunlight. In 2-3 years you'll have a full sized lemon tree!
